project supplies, for you pt 1: motion sensors

Motion sensors are in many things from halloween toys, antitheft alarms, to practically everything in our phone. But to make a more successful and interesting sensor and sound piece where you can change out sounds and customize it here is what you will need for the class. (This will work with video as well if you want to go a step further in the future.

One motion sensor (also call infrared PIR sensor)
here is the basic one to buy
https://www.amazon.com/Adafruit-LK-918O-SANV-FBACA-PIR-Motion-Sensor/dp/B00JOZTAC6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1544671130&sr=8-4&keywords=pir+sensor

You will also need an arduino (also called a micro-controller) This will be what will connect the outside world to your audio file. This is a genereic, cheaper, but will do the same job.

https://www.amazon.com/Elegoo-EL-CB-001-ATmega328P-ATMEGA16U2-Arduino/dp/B01EWOE0UU/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1544671374&sr=8-9&keywords=arduino I have an extra one I will bring next next plus a couple other micro controllers in case the mail betrays you.

We can talk about pushing it further after a successful first run. ;)

I will provide wiring for you.
